KVITNU FEST 2007:

17 sound artists and two of the most prominent VJ teams from the biggest Ukrainian cities like Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovs'k, Ternopil and Kyiv (Kiev) were invited to present their art in two stages during one night in one of the biggest clubs of Kyiv.
By starting Kvitnu Fest in 2007 the idea was to see if it is possible for Ukraine to make a festival without any "help" of famous international headliners, by building a line up from only local Ukrainian artists. Is it possible to create truly interesting and full-fledged event with selecting artists by territorial or even national attribute? Does such thing as "Ukrainian sound" or "Ukrainian school" exists? Will we get the same audience as an international event?
The resonance from local media as well as from public surpassed interest for Detali Zvuku festival, which appeared as an unexpected and pleasure surprise, and displayed great and vivid interest to experimental electronic scene of Ukraine.
