MOKIRA

Mokira is the minimal dub noise project by Andreas Tilliander. Since the debut album 'Cliphop' on Raster Noton in 2000, Mokira has presented different styles and ideas. Sometimes rhythmical and hard, other times more dreamy and ambient. Mokiras 'Album' on Type Records was beautiful and melodic, but still with some dark undertones. The latest Mokira album, 'Hateless' shows yet another side of the Tilliander moniker. Hateless is a harsh drone album where a single Korg MS-20 analog synthesizer is the only sound source. As with most Andreas Tilliander productions, dub music is the main inspiration for Mokira.

At Kvitnu Fest, Mokira has promised to give us a rhythmical noise dub set.
